Our fire resistant sealant products are designed to resist the passage of smoke and fire for between 30 minutes and 2 hours. The range has been extensively tested to rigorous British, German and European standards. We have also worked in partnership with global glass manufacturers such as Pilkington, Vetrotech Saint Gobain and Schott Glass to test our products to British and European standards.
In addition, we work closely with the UK’s major trade bodies, the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF).
Meeting stringent standards
Our Firestrip® 30 and Firestrip® 60 products are approved under the BWF’s independent Certifire scheme and are suitable for use by FIRAS accredited glaziers. We are also a member of the GGF’s Fire Resistant Glazing Group whose remit includes the review of fire regulations and standards.
